The titans are like a miniature version of the entire world. At first, they hated eachother simply because of race (or sexual orientation), but their coach later inspired them to treat eachother right and become a team.
If the entire world was like that football team, then the hatred would be gone and if anyone still hated others simply because of the color of their skin, then they can just sit on the bench.
