Review of Remember the Titans (2000) by James R — 19 Aug 2012
A nice solid football movie dealing with the integration of African Americans in 1971. The movie shows how a team comes together as one to overcome the odds. It's not a new formula at all, but a very likable cast makes it very watchable.
If I had one problem it would be the movie has characters making decisions super quick. I know the movie is close to two hours but hot damn does it go from "I will be retiring" to "nevermind they need me" all in the span of 5 minutes.
Overall, Denzel Washington comes shining through with a great performance. Definitely check this one out!
