Review of Remember Sunday (2013) by Frank R — 25 Jul 2013
Essentially a 50 Days and 50 Nights plot line where the roles are reversed (the male lead loses his memory ech day instead of the female lead). While the movie was cute enough, none of the situations created were really addressed with any dose of reality.
Each time Molly decides that she's scared and runs off/disappears, she predictably returns after some sort of correlating stimuli but never addresses her action(s) of running to begin with. How onvenient to just act as if it never happens and just pop back into Gus' life again as she sees fit.
In the end, it made me feel sorry for Gus not because his memory resets, but because the woman he loves is a coward who takes advantage of his condition without ever making any sort of amends for her actions.
Must be nice to declare your ove only when it suits you without ever having to face the consequences of our actions. If the storyline had addressed that aspect of Molly, this could have been a solid story vs a shoddily done knock-off.
Definitely worth watching if you'd like to scheme along with Molly looking for ways to act with impunity while starting/within a relationship that has a built in "out" when things get even remotely difficult.
