Review of Remember Me (2010) by Katel — 13 Mar 2010
Not every movie is supposed to be filled with happy endings and out of this world, unrealistic romance. This movie portrays real life: small romances with ordinary people that anyone can encounter. The destiny of Notebook-worthy romance is ignorant.
As for those saying the ending was insensitive: 9/11 happened. The story behing the character of Tyler just puts in perspective what thousands went through. Insensitive? No. If anything it honors the memory just in that we remember them.
Stashing away 9/11 as something we shouldn't mention or portray is nothing less than an insult to all of those who lost their lives.
