Now this is a good movie. Maher is so funny here, whether he's talking to a Jesus impersonator or a US senator, he manages to make them look absolutely ridiculous just by letting them speak. These fame whores show their religion in a terrible light, although we all know that the editing helps with this immensely.
But who cares! It's a comedy, not a documentary. Yes, it's heavily edited, yes Maher is exceptionally arrogant, yes it's biased. But big deal. Religion is ridiculous anyway, it's about time we mocked it.
And Maher does. Well.
