Review of Religulous (2008) by Diganta B — 29 Jun 2011
I do suggest all, please, watch it at-least! It is entirely mirthful and truly does elevate on absolute legal spots about belief and religion and God. No one utters you have to like it or concur with it, you can fervidly hate it for all I worry, but you cannot sharply say a little is awful or hateful or anything else without seeing it.
Best quotes:
1. If God is so powerful why doesn't he talk and spread his orders to the people of whole world, why he calls someone secretly and only talk to him?
2. If you believe that the world is going to come to an end - and perhaps any day now - does it not drain one's motivation to improve life on earth while we're here?
3. There's been more killing in the name of "my God.".
4. The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having in key decisions made by religious people. By irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. George Bush prayed a lot about Iraq, but he didn't learn a lot about it. Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking.
