Review of Relative Values (2000) by Anuja A — 17 Sep 2007
Probably the weirdest casting ever (mixing D-list Hollywood i.e. Billy Baldwin with high calibre British actors like Julie Andrews, Stephen Fry, Colin Firth and Sophie Thompson (sister of Emma), a comment on hierarchies in general?) But whatever, it's a Noel Coward play, and it was highly enjoyable, mainly because I had no idea a movie with Colin Firth not playing Mr Darcy, but a drunk and flamboyantly gay aristo even existed.
Hilarious and fun.
