I usually love movies with Adam Sandler, but this one bored me from the start... so I didn't bother to finish the movie. I only watched half an hour, so I didn't got it all, but if you don't have a good start I won't watch the rest of the movie.
It's as simple as that. I bet the plot is pretty good and touching, but also boring as hell the way it's told.
