Review of Reign Over Me (2007) by Skyler I — 16 Jun 2011

It's a really good and well-written story, made even better by an unusually great performance by Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle (Though I was a bit sad that a talented actor such as Cheadle played this role since it's really nothing more than a plot function).

It's been negatively compared to the Rain Man, but the big difference is that this movie's actually good. One of my favorite things about this movie is Charlie Fineman's lifestyle, which really appealed to me.

All he does is collect free money from the government, purchase rare LPs and play videogames. Of course that's not the only reason to see it, it's just one I'm fond of.
