This movie is set in the modern world with a touch of fantasy. After modern society breaks down by the unleashment of a dragon deep in the bowels of the earth, Christian Bale creates a stronghold in England to protect the people, and to survive the onslaught.
Matthew McConaughey plays a military commander leading a war-torn group of dragon fighters who have come to slay the one dragon which could end the war. This movie was fantastic and one of the few great dragon movies.
This was definately a solid movie.
