Good, untill the americans turn up and then it gets all a bit silly... Despite the talents of Christian Bale and Matthew Mcconaughey's talents and some brilliant effects this film, while very entertaining if you can ignore the huge plot holes does effectively chew up a couple if hours.
While I wasn't impressed the first time I saw this film, it has however grown on me as a guilty pleasure. I shouldn't like it, but I do. A nice to have a modern twist on a mythical beastie story.
