Pretty to look at, all it has for it is sci-fi story and special effects. Unfortunately, there can be so much more to most movies than just popcorn devouring swerves and dips and doodles. To watch all the "other", better movies with actual jaw-dropping swerves and shocking revelations make for so much more vision than something cheesy and lacking in heart like this.
Still excellent but I've seen much much much better so I don't want to be a comparative tardy person, but this was just stupid fun. I've seen much much better flicks. This was all about the special effects.
One of the better, funner dumb spectacle's with some very gorgeous pretty special effects that make for a true dumb fantasy epic for people who loved Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.
