Review of Reign of Fire (2002) by Stef — 09 Feb 2011

I've always remembered this movie as 'that one really sucky movie I watched in theatres when it was released'. Having rewatched it now, nearly nine years after its release, I can say that it isn't as bad as I recall.

Good special effects, good acting (Maththew McConaughey is surprisingly badass and pretty unrecognizable (think Garrett Hedlund in 'Death Sentence')), and decent script. Nice post-apocalyptic feel.
