Review of Reign of Assassins (2010) by Nuno B — 30 Dec 2010
Quite impressed with the level of depth this film was displayed. A blend of intrigue, drama and romance into this martial artsy world was a breathtaking feast. John Woo's production allowed him to co-direct along side a skillful Taiwanese writer/director. The music, direction, and cinematography was just right to satisfy the mind-blowing action swordplay sequences.
Since Last Hurrah for Chivalry, you can't go wrong for John Woo and his partner to bring a production that displays a heroic violent fashion. Don't be sad that there's no two gun action, it's still a must-see!
