(1991) Regarding Henry.

DRAMA.

(Contains spoilers).

An renown lawyer Henry Turner(Harrison Ford) receives a gun shot wound to the head because of some robbery turning him to act like a child again with his wife Sarah and 12 year old daughter helping him to rehabilitate. Once he becomes better and as the film progresses he finds out once becoming a softee that his old life was the pits and was an immoral bastard since he was a successful sleazy lawyer. So basically even though he's not his same old self again the law firm still continue to pay him- just for showing up. And realizes that his old self is more sleazy and self absorbed than his new life, where he used to cheat on his wife Sarah and regularly always ignores his 12 year old daughter.

Throughout at least on the first hour, I was wondering whether the bastard that shot him was ever going to get caught, but the film kind of turns around and forget that he even exists and says that those shots- one to the head was a mixed blessing which in real life- hardly happens. And finally decides to leave a great gig by being paid to show up to do nothing since he can't really be hired to do anything else since he still has that bullet lodged in his brain. I mean for the short term he gets to spend more quality time with his wife and child but that can only last so long with the money they have - it's hardly anything.

2 out of 4.
