Review of Reform School Girls (1986) by Joe B — 28 Aug 2010
I might actually be giving this a better review than it deserves but this movie was lots of fun, buut as a spoof of the Women In Prison genre. I couldn't take it seriously enough to believe that it wasn't a spoof.
That aside, this movie is pretty much what you expect from the title, a whole lot of women in nothing but their underwear and a tank top rebelling.
Pat Ast is creepy and disgusting as Edna the warden, Wendy O. Williams was creepy as Charlie (she also sang some of the songs on the soundtrack heard throughout the movie).
Linda Carol was very good as the lead and there are a few scenes that have Sybil Danning, who I always enjoy.
Oddly enough though, I was actually surprised by how little nudity there is in this movie. There are a few shower scenes and a couple random nudity moments and that's it.
