Review of Reds (1981) by Nathan M — 10 Jan 2008
Warren Beatty crafts a flawless epic about the story of Jack Reed and the Bolshevik Revolution. Engossing as it unfolds and thought provoking as it speaks, this epic follows the grand scope of Doctor Zhivago and keeps on on board.
It doesn't seem like a 194 minute trek so much as a dream piece that utilizes its time, thanks to Warren Beatty's performance and skill/efficiency as a director.
