I couldn't help talking about "Gangs of New York" when discussing where this film didn't work. It worked on numerous levels though. It is long and doesn't feel like it. It is insightful and very interesting.
The acting is wonderful. I wasn't happy with the ending. It didn't feel complete. Over-all, a very great watch.
