Review of Reds (1981) by Michael R — 16 Aug 2010
I just revisited this childhood favorite and liked it still. A cute couple spats and gets swept away by the Bolshevik revolution and learn that what matters between men and women involves choice and integrity, even as they learn the hard way that their socialist political ideals are naive.
The united workers just become pawns of a brave new elitist soviet police state, and leftist idealists get used against their choice because the real power doesn't allow choices.
