Review of Redemption (2014) by Shiloh R — 20 Nov 2013
Redemption, is a very well played and written movie. The movie has its funny moments and sad moments. Joseph "Joey" Jones (Jason Statham) was an ex-special forces agent, who left and went to live in London as a drunk and homeless. He meets a beautiful Nun Sister Christina (Agata Buzek), even though she was a Nun that did not stop them from falling for each other.
During the movie Jones finds out that his best friend Isabel (Victoria Bewick) has been murdered. Because of this Joey goes through and wants to find her killer and make him pay. Even though the jobs that he must take to find her killer, are bad jobs, such as working for the mob, he does them anyway.
Joey makes lots of money, but the only thing he uses it for is giving it to Christina. In the end Christina leaves and goes to Africa, but not without being with Jones for a bit.
This movie was very good, it had funny parts and sad parts but in the end it was very good. One thing that was bad about the movie though was in the end when Christina left. I was really hoping that she should stay and be with Joey. Other than that small thing the movie was very good, I liked it a lot, and would watch it again.
