Chiwetel Ejiofor might be the next great one. He has shown this in many supporting roles and with Redbelt, finally gets to show his full talent as a leading man. Redbelt is simply a good film, it comes close to greatness, but not quite, although the ending is touching and perfect.

The deeply conflicted world we live in and these chracters have to deal with is so true and interesting-the people that Ejiofor's Mike Terry come in contact with that will affect his life in one way or another are all very suddle in th beginning, but we slowly see how friendship can be misleading and why Terry tries so hard to stay away from things tha will make him weak or take away his honor.

The film has its strong theme of not letting go of your principles, of doing your part to improve what you can of this morally decaying world. Its a good fil, strong, touching and at times shocking. Worth a watch, even two.
