Review of Redbelt (2008) by Tim B — 02 Nov 2008
For some reason this movie really won me over, the honorable way Ejiofor's character lives his life is compelling and how Mamet treats the subject of Jiu-Jitsu in his film is interesting. The general story stretches reality to some extent, but it still works.
My only real complaint was the ending, it just felt rushed and it felt like the writting ran out of ideas.
