[i][b]Planet Terror[/b][/i] >> Tries too hard to be a cheesy B horror/comedy and ends up being only mildly entertaining with a few actually worthy scenes.

[i][b]The Golden Compass[/b][/i] >> From what I hear, this film adaptation is very toned down as to not offend anyone (I'm assuming). I haven't read the original material so I can only judge it solely as a film. In the respect, it is an interesting idea for a fantasy with pretty much all the magic taken away. The climactic scene isn't very climactic, and doesn't leave for a good closing.

[i][b]Redbelt [/b][/i]>> David Mamet is back with another good film about the trouble of sticking to your honor and own moral code.

[i][b]Sukiyaki Western Django[/b][/i] >> It's no Miike classic but it's a fun and weird western with some cool action scenes. Very stylish.

[i][b]Sunshine [/b][/i]>> One of the better sci-fi movies to come out in recent years. Both engaging and intrigues the mind.
