The realistic fighting and clear cut devotion to honor and eastern philosophy actually hurts this movie a lot. but if you are into that stuff, then I definitely recommend this movie.
I really felt for Mike Terry (Chiwetel Ejiofor) as he struggled to stay as pure as possible in this un-pure world. If you actually pay attention to this movie however, a lot of the things that happens to Mike really doesn't hold logically. the fighting was real, but wasn't too exciting, mainly because the editing was pretty bad. another bad thing was Alice Braga's acting.
