Review of Redbelt (2008) by Matthew I — 25 Apr 2009
As distracting as some the of editing is, mamets latest film is actually pretty good. its far from perfect and we dont get as much of the great dialogue as I have come to expect from his movies, but some off it is there and the twisty storyline is engaging even when it misses a few beats.
ejiofor is pretty good, and we all know how much I like emily mortimer. its more of a modern samurai movie due to its emphasis less on the fighting the the rightness of ones actions.
