Review of Redbelt (2008) by Fabio M — 03 May 2009
If you're looking for your typical karate kid stuff well, this one's not for you. Just a bit dragging in the beginning but trust me when I say that it gets better in the middle part of the movie up until the dramatic ending. Just hang in there and the movie will touch some part of you.
The movie is about a guy who has so much respect for himself and for what he believes in that he gets blinded most of the time. He trusts so much in the innate goodness of people that he almost always forgets that there are a lot of people out there who just want to get ahead at the expense of others.
