Review of Redbelt (2008) by Pappas K — 24 Sep 2009
Redbelt was a considerately strong film, but it fell apart at the end. It moved fast and didn't make much sense. The fights were poorly executed. I found the plot to be more entertaining. There were a lot of twists and turns throughout the film.
Redbelt was built more on drama than actual fighting. If it didn't have a good plot, it would of failed miserably. Chiwetel Ejiofor is a great actor and it was good to see Joe Mantegna playing such a cynical role.
I just wished they could of cleaned up the fight scenes a little more.
