Review of Redbelt (2008) by N H — 28 Nov 2008
Like a lot of Mamet's stuff, in "Redbelt" we find a character whose principles clash with the world around him. Unlike a lot of Mamet's other work, however, this film is surprisingly optimistic in its message of how said principled character can cope and survive despite the societal urge to compromise those perceived virtues.
