Review of Redbelt (2008) by Kenny C — 28 Sep 2009
I believe this movie is inspiring especially for a martial artist as myself who's been taught similar principals and theories and philosophy from a martial art stand point. While watching this movie, I couldn't help but to reflect the parallel of the life and story of my own martial art teacher.
It was quite amazing. I believe this movie has a life lesson that will last for generations. The main character, Mike Terry, holds characteristics like honor and dignity and self worth that we all would like to see in other or even in ourselves.
Someone who won't compromise for purity and what is just. Probably the only thing that I was concern with the movie was that it was kind of slow, but I have to say that the acting really caught my attention.
