For its flaws, and the inherent danger AND the carelessness with which it was made - it is still a brave and important, necessary project. its showing in france and I worry about the takeaway - american soldiers as nazis? leaves me w questions.

big moral conflicts. and wanting more information and more movies with inside perspectives, untold stories. acting isn't up to par esp with main characters. too made-for-tv. it could have been great.

it promised greatness and didnt deliver. it was a bit sloppy hence the danger of its release. too careless.
