What didnt De Palma cover in his brilliant Casualties of War that he thought he would have to rehash the same themes again? I dont think he knew, which is why he felt compelled to use the multi media device to manipulate this well intentioned flick into quite a mess.
..still , I appreciated the performances...its a harrowing theme...its just not unique storytelling.
