Review of Redacted (2007) by Cecile D — 13 Dec 2007
When I saw the trailer and read the synopsis, I was totally revved up to see it. It looked to be a fascinating move on Iraq and how the media reported on it, something Michael Moore-like, but boy was I ever disappointed.
It turned out to be a dramatized account of the day to day lives of American soldiers and how some of them did some pretty nasty stuff. That's about the part where I cut off the movie. I was really turned off.
In general, the filming and the acting downright sucks. Too bad.
