Review of Redacted (2007) by Anita H — 10 Jan 2008
A critically lambasted movie that in my opinion, is just really extremely shocking for most people to digest in one go. The movie is based on the rape and murder of an underaged Iraqi girl that captured the world's attention when it happened.
The guerrilla style camera shots were pretty original to say the least and the build up is pretty good. the rape scene is intense and definitely not for the weak hearted. really shocking stuff. the acting though, was very sloppy and one dimensional.
A movie you have to watch and judge for yourself.
