Honourable intentions and an interesting idea but sadly De Palma is totally the wrong man for the job. If The Black Dahlia was LA Confidential-lite, Redacted is Hallmark United 93. There's a horrible amount of acting going on, the multi-media just seems like window dressing and the use of music over the final shocking real life image says nothing so much as 'ta da!'.
