Audacious, incendiary, and ultimately flawed portrait of the Iraq war about a group of soldiers who rape and murder a 15 year old Iraqi girl. Told from the soldiers' point of view through hand-held camcorder footage, "Redacted" (which is a fictional account based on real events) is a gut-wrenching mess, that nonetheless is a powerful experiment, and is one of the essential films about the Iraq war.
