POWERFUL AND FRIGHTENING...
When one thinks this was based on a real event. I don't care how much they re-touched it to make it into a movie or how much they might have exaggerated. Bottom line is, the soldiers in a foreign country are there to keep the peace, help the country get on its feet, but not to hate the people of that country and take their frustrations out on those people.
I admit I am biased, I do not believe US troops or Canadian troops should be in Iraq or Afghanistan, but even a supporter cannot rationally explain the behaviour of these soldiers, of these representatives of western law, or even of these so-called human beings.
This is one of those cases where the truth is much more frightening than anything anybody could imagine.
