Review of Redacted (2007) by Eric A — 24 May 2008
A faux documentary detailing the story of a group of Marines who rape a 15 yr old Iraqi girl. A very poor translation of a series of real life events. The characters are overdone and the morals are quite heavy handed.
An interesting film, just not a very good one. This film would have benefited from some subtlety in both the story, characters and production.
