Review of Redacted (2007) by Aladdin A — 31 Jul 2008
Bit of an odd one this. It's trying to be a documentary cobbled together from video diaries, news footage and internet videos but the whole thing looks too HD and glossy. All the various media have exactly the same look which grated.
As for the film itself? It acheives what it set out to do. Horrific in places. The acting of the novice cast was also horrific.
