Review of Redacted (2007) by Pinar K — 19 Oct 2008
This film was pretty much a new spin on "Casualties of War" (one of my favorite films about Vietnam). Incredibly low budget, the acting was subpar and the characters were poorly drawn. And while I can see why some would criticize this movie for being having a strong "liberal" bias, films such as this are of paramount importance in our modern society.
That is, this film reminds us that no war is worth fighting, that, in war, there are no "good guys" or "bad guys." A film well worth seeing.
