Review of Redacted (2007) by Dru X — 28 Nov 2009
This film basically leads to one horrific moment and then its after effects with the people involved. I can see why its so controversial as De Palma does heavily handle the subject matter and is incrediably biased in his viewage of the Iraq war.
Anyone who thinks completly opposite to De Palma will despise this film as a result. For myself I thought the film had a very powerful message but an unpopular one. Very engaging watch but not one I can enjoy.
Difficult watch.
