Review of Red White & Blue (2010) by Ollie W — 27 Sep 2011
Starts off as a drama following around a nympho, Erica, living for free in a boarding house only because she does the menial chores around the place, she meets Nate at the boarding house, who gets her a job at the local hardware store and just wants to be her friend.
Then as the story goes along it involves some local rockers with whom Erica had an earlier sexual encounter and that is when it takes a skin crawling turn. It is a very emotional and disturbing film with scenes of explicit sex and violence but it is very slow to get to where it is going, so when it finally gets to where it's going, you feel drained.
I was quite happy with the film, good acting, especially by Noah Taylor and Amanda Fuller. Be patient!
