Review of Red, White and Blue (1971) by Tony F — 23 Mar 2011
How this film didn't get banned I dunno. Part love story, part revenge, then topped off with horror-drama that proudly doesn't hold back. Exhausting! Yet interesting the whole way through. Even if I did find it almost as hard to watch than Breaking the waves. A unique experience I honestly hope I never have to go through again.
Plus it's nice to see Noah Tyler in a film where he actually gets to act, instead of his working actor roles playing Lara Croft's nerdy assistant, or Charlie Bucket's father. So underrated, someone give him a movie already!!
