Review of Red, White and Blue (1971) by Aberrant D — 21 Oct 2016
Gutted me big time. other people have compared this to audition, in that it's got a mega tone shift. yep, it sure does. there's a lot of dread, and wowza, things get uncomfortable fast. although some components of the story could be considered borderline outlandish (a LOT of bad things happen concurrently), I was okay with accepting them and allowing everything to fall apart the way it did.
really strong drama and noah taylor was just A+ great. bleak af, so be ready for that.
