Review of Red Tails (2012) by Archibald T — 23 Jul 2012
The story of the Tuskegee Airmen has been done before. This is more of an upgrade of the story with George Lucas special effects and a all-star cast. The aerial battle sequences are great to look at, but you know when a film is bad when the special effects trump the story, acting and above all the true story of these men.
There's no substance to anything in the film. The characters and their dialogue are nothing more but stereotypes and cliches.
