Kudos to the director for telling a story that few people knew. The acting was ok, if a touch GI Joe cheese laden . I think they could have squeezed some more emotion out of the situation. Otherwise inoffensive really - which is not saying much.
I was astounded how much CGI there was, and the lighting wasnt bad at all. it almost felt real - but was given away by the shiny reflerctions of the planes - a little too perfect for me. There was a moment that the red tails felt like an echo of the scene in which the starwars x-fighters go to fight the evil empire.
