What was this supposed to be? It wasn't a horror movie, wasn't a thriller, wasn't an action flick, wasn't a psychological drama, wasn't a Kevin Smith movie (in the normal sense - and you could make the case that even Jersey Girl was a Kevin Smith movie), but most of all, it wasn't very good.
Red State felt very forced, and when script decisions couldn't be made a bullet was used to end a character's storyline.
