Well, this was certainly better than the last Kevin Smith movie. Thankfully, he has gone back to writing and directing...because Cop Out was just horrible. This is a different genre then Kevin Smith is know for though.
..and while it does get a tad silly from time to time, I still found it very enjoyable. Check it out if you like the genre.
