Part religious commentary, part horror/action and part comedy, this film doesn't quite deliver the goods. Although it does take you through some sharp turns as it shifts its focus from act to act. It has Kevin Smith's gift for dialogue and Michael Parks is excellent as the antagonist, but this one is strictly for Kevin Smith fans who will appreciate the departure from his usual fare.
