Review of Red State (2011) by Spike V — 11 Mar 2013
This isn't you average Kevin Smith film. He really made a unique piece of realistic religious horror that tells it how it is. The casting is so good, Affleck stole it to make Argo. The violence is savage in a very down to Earth fashion (and not in the glorified self-gratifying gory trend).
The film really smacks your face.
