Positive:The dialogue is, as any Kevin Smith film, brilliant, even though he has switched to the horror genera. The acting from Michael Parks and John Goodman is superb and the whole first half is some of the best work I've ever seen from Kevin Smith.
The way it was shot was also very different from any other Kevin Smith film and it looked very impressive and gave it a realistic look.Negative:The second half falls a bit short and some of the lines are slightly cheesy.
